Abstract

This research compares how principals in Japan and Pakistan help teachers be happy at work. When principals are involved and supportive, teachers feel more motivated, appreciated, and encouraged, leading to higher job satisfaction and better performance. The study shows that principals in Japan are more supportive towards teachers than in Pakistan. Principal engagement and support are crucial for teachers’ work and job satisfaction, which can influence a school’s overall performance.
