I’m a researcher at the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute for applied social research in Jerusalem. Alongside my work I study the use of individuals’ self-assessments regarding the effect of intervention program on their own outcomes in program evaluations. In addition to the attached manuscript, I have published a related article: “Examination of the Empirical Research Environment of Program Evaluation: Methodology and Application” (Evaluation review, 34(6), 2010). A methodology is proposed for examining the validity of a specified research environment in a given intervention program and database. In the research environment described in the article, there is a significant potential for the use of individuals’ self-assessments.
