Muntasir Murshed is an aspiring economist who believes that sky is the limit when it comes to brainstorming in quest of generating research motivations. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Economics degree from North South University and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Economics in NSU too. Upon completion of his Bachelors, Muntasir worked as a Research Associate at NSU before joining the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) as a Programme Associate (Research). His areas of research interest stem across Sustainable Development Goals, Dutch Disease, International Trade, Energy Economics and Tourism. Muntasir has published several of his research articles in reputed double peer-reviewed, scopus-indexed, international journals as well as in the national Journal of Business Studies (University of Dhaka). He coauthored an international book chapter “Economies of Cross-Border Electricity Trading in Bangladesh.”
