I am a Marriage & Family Therapist Intern with a background in medical devices and chronic pain management. I see couples, families, and individuals for psychotherapy. My hobbies include surfing, creative writing, and hanging with my wife and two daughters. A great deal of my inspiration comes from growing up with two forms of arthritis and overcoming the pain in creative ways.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (1998) and am finishing up my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. My first career was selling medical devices and hospital software/hardware to hospitals across the US. I have also served as Federal Expert Witness for the Dept. of Justice on the topic of patient safety devices and the marketing perspective projected by healthcare companies.
I am in the process of accruing hours toward my Marriage and Family Therapy License.
