Download fileThe mechanism between the evolution of cognitive logics and entrepreneurial opportunities: A longitudinal comparative analyses of two cases
Although
the discovery/creation of entrepreneurial opportunities are extremely
important, the process of analysis, evaluation and screening of the ideas
cannot be ignored. This study selects two companies from China as case to explore
the mechanism between the evolution of cognitive logics and entrepreneurial
opportunities. We find that the entrepreneur/entrepreneurial team will pay
attention to the innovation, consensus and practicality of ideas, and the
cognitive logics using different knowledge structures in the evaluation of
ideas include three types of, i.e., single, parallel and natural, logics.
Finally, this explores the deeper reasons for the mutual transformation between
discovery opportunities and creation opportunities.
