The main aim of this study was to explore the application of chaos/complexity theory in the learning of verbal tense and aspect in Maltese as a second language (MSL). Hence C/CT main characteristics were integrated to comprehend more what is happening in the learner's brain while learning the verbs of a second language (L2).
