Measuring Perceived Control: Exploratory Factor Analysis of a Perceived Control Scale Among United States Job Seekers
preprintposted on 16.12.2020, 21:27 by James Boyle
Participants were provided by Qualtrics, a commercial panel aggregator, located in the United States. Numerical data was collected from job seekers with an 8-item Likert scale developed by the German Institute for Economic Research to measure general perceived control over life. Selected items were reverse coded and summed so that higher scores reflected higher perceived control.
