Journalism on trial during Covid-19 crisis: Between Government budgetary support and editorial independence in Kenya

The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with various editors from 12 independent media houses in Kenya involved. It made use of simple sampling to enlist participants who responded to the interview questions that were administered to them on a one-on-one basis and via telephone. Response to the questions were then coded and key themes identified and developed.
