This article focuses on the question of student politics in contemporary India using the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagat Singh around the concept of student and student politics. Generally, the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi are read in contrast with the ideas of revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, but student politics is one such area where we witness a kind of similarity between both personalities therefore this article is an attempt to explore this. While reflecting on the subject undertaken, this article also attempts to problematize the nature of student politics in current India.
