Abstract

The effect of therapist ‘dress up’ was studied in the present work to know that how do amalgamation of a therapist dress as an embodiment feel and his client’s perception about his appearance makes the therapeutic alliance beginning successful or otherwise ? The study singled out 70 clients, visiting the OPD of a hospital to seek assistance of a clinical psychologist who received each ten of them in single dress and used seven dress codes (embodiment), usual or remote, to determine the effects of these on the session ratings, performed by the clients on SRS. The results supported the varied impact of various amalgamations.
